About Hacienda Fac 51 Tour
For one night only on the last Saturday of September, the legendary Manchester clubbing institution that remains FAC 51 The Haçienda is crossing the Pennines to bring The Haçienda Tour which recreates the stunning vibes and atmosphere of FAC 51 in the 21st century to Castleford's multi award-winning SNO!zone complex.
Guaranteed to heat up the snow sports and skiing venue at SNO!zone, FAC 51 The Haçienda comes to the complex's SNO!bar with a line up which seems set to melt ardent clubbers back to reliving the Haçienda's heyday. The line up for the 27th September gig brings together many of the most famous names which made the club so special and ensured that the status and reputation of the Haçienda for unrivalled good times remains as relevant today as it did back in the day.
Firmly at the helm of all affairs Haçienda nowadays, New Order's Peter Hook, one of the original founders and co-owners of the club will be in attendance, bringing with him his highly composed DJ set which ranges from the choicest electro, indie and bootlegs with the odd New Order classic or rare remix thrown in for good measure.
Backing up Hooky on the night is one of the Haçienda's original residents foremost DJ talents in the world, Graeme Park, who has managed to combine his DJing with a highly successful career as a tastemaker radio DJ. One of the finest mixers in the world, Graeme's DJ'd throughout the globe since getting his break at The Haçienda and the SNO!zone event provides a scarce opportunity to catch one of the world's most respected spinners in Castleford.
And as if that wasn't enough already, that loose limbed Mancunian funster who has come to embody the values and excesses of the Madchester scene, The Happy Mondays' Bez will also be in tow at the Castleford gig for one of his inimitably unique DJ sets which combine the finest and most loved Haçienda anthems with Bez's unique rapping, live style. A crowd pleaser throughout his career, SNO!zone will see Bez live and direct, in full effect, as has been his way with the Mondays, Black Grape, Domino Bones and all of his projects.
