About

Heavy metal's masked and maniacal mainstays

There was never a band like Slipknot, and there will never be another. Like a spore out of the Midwest, they’ve quietly bloomed into the most uncompromising, undeniable, and unique presence on the planet whose influence transcends genres and generations.

Since sowing the seeds for revolution in Iowa during 1999, these musical outliers have captured a Grammy Award alongside 10 nominations, scored 12 Platinum / 41 Gold album certifications around the world, and logged over 8.5 billion global streams and 3.5 billion video views to date – unprecedented for a rock act in this generation or any other.

Rolling Stone cited the seminal platinum-selling 2001 album Iowa among “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time,” while The Ringer attested, “They’re the most important heavy band of their era.” In addition to marking the group’s third consecutive #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200, their sixth full-length album, We Are Not Your Kind, bowed at No. 1 in twelve countries worldwide in 2019.

Selling out shows on multiple continents, they deliver an irreplicable multi-sensory experience on tour and through their own festival Knotfest. With their seventh album The End, So Far, Slipknot are back, and nothing will be the same again.

  • Good, not the best

This was the third time I saw Slipknot, the fact it was only songs from 25 years ago with 3 to 5 minute filler noise from Sid. Don't get me wrong I love Slipknot, it was good but the previous times I seen them was better. Bleed from within supported them and they blew the roof off the hydro they were outstanding!!

  • Amazing

I've been a fan of slipknot since birth, my dad used to play them while I was still growing, along with two other bands. I saw them in Leeds on Dec 14th and I had such an amazing time. The energy was incredible, the crowd was so excited, everyone was having an amazing time. I would 1000% go again, they made my whole year in just one night.

  • The band were as good as it gets. Brilliant

I had trouble getting into the venue, expecting to show my ticket on the ticket master app but was told I needed to download the AXS app to display the ticket but this would not load properly so we had to go to the box office and show the Ticket master app with ticket conformation and they then printed us a paper ticket. A bit disappointing as thought the app was supposed to avoid this sort of thing.

  • Awesome final show

  • Mmmmm

I've only been into Slipknot a short while. And this was the first time seeing them. The energy was amazing on and off stage. And seeing a band go back to it's roots was awesom. But the Sid Solo bits killed it a bit. Maybe I'm just to old to get it or understand the link between songs, I don't know. And the set seemed short. I didn't get any of my Heretic items either after paying near £300. Which was a let down to

  • Slipknot Great....VIP a shambles!

    by Lady Rachy on 21/12/2024The O2 - LondonRating: 2 out of 5

Checked my email regarding VIP and where to collect lanyard etc. Went to entrance B and was told to go to 110 merchandise stand. Went to 110. Saw VIP experience flag, so Went to counter, was told that they were not handing out the VIP merchandise, and was out in main foyer. As I was already Checked in they told me to go to merchandise stand at 108, where someone could escort me out and back in. Went to 108, only to be told they knew nothing about it and that they couldn't assist and I need to find someone else. I went down to the ticket entrance, saw a lovely lady who confirmed that I needed to go to Guest Services in the main forum and directed me. The security guys were very understanding and let me out & in again. Finally found the VIP area and 'exclusive' merchandise. For what I paid for the experience it was a shockingly poor choice of 1 item. I have been to other VIP events and have had a number of exclusive items. Poor, poor value for money. The seat was great but had to get someone out of it as they tried to insist I was behind them...no they werein the wrong seats, so moved. Got up to watch Slipknot onky to be poked and told to sit down! I should have stuck with my original ticket for half the price and only 9 rows back. Oh and missed support act completely because of the VIP shambles. Was thinking of doing the Sabaton VIP..but I don't think I'll bother with it.

  • Decent...

    by Bobby on 21/12/2024The O2 - LondonRating: 3 out of 5

My 11 year old son absolutely loved it, he said it was the best day ever seeing Slipknot play! I (46 year old!) thought it was good but not brilliant, they had loads of energy and put on a good show but I thought the set list was a bit weak, I know it was a 'special' 25 year anniversary gig but would like to have seen more of the big hits.
