The Philadelphia soul man
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Daryl Hall, is launching his 2025 international touring slate with a series of UK shows, featuring opening act Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze.
Starting 17 May in Glasgow, the tour sees Hall play The Royal Albert Hall on 19 May, for the first time ever in his illustrious career.
Tilbrook has previously performed with Hall on his award-winning web series, Live From Daryl's House. “I’ve toured with Glenn in the past, and I’m a fan of his songs, and it will be great to work with him again,” said Daryl, whose previous tours included acts Howard Jones, Elvis Costello and Todd Rundgren, all of whom also appeared on the acclaimed show. The format is the same, with Tilbrook performing a solo set in front of the house band to open, then joining Daryl Hall on-stage to close the show.
Added Tilbrook, "I am so excited to be playing with Daryl and his fabulous band this year. After having a blast touring with them in 2021, and re-igniting the flame in Daryl’s House in 2023, I look forward to reuniting with them and playing some of my favorite songs, Daryl songs and some other stuff that you’ll love! Come down and don’t break the furniture."
Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the star of his very own award-winning web series, Live from Daryl’s House, as well as a successful venue owner with Daryl’s House, a restored venue and live music space in Pawling, N.Y.
The Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere.

Love Daryl Hall & he didn't disappoint! Band was amazing. So glad we got to see him !!
This was a trip down memory lane remembering those classic pop songs from the past. Daryl had an excellent band. Glen Tilbrook as support was enjoyable and joining Daryl for the encore including a Squeeze song.
Daryl's voice was weak, slurry, often off key & he babbled between songs. His keyboard playing often sounded in the wrong key. Me & 2 friends agreed he was definitely 'on something's. The Daryl's House Band were competent but lacked inspiration & just did the job as his backing band . Such a difference from last year's gig at the Apollo in London. Paid £100 for the ticket. Wouldn't pay to see him again. 😟
Daryl and Glenn superb especially when singing together and the incredible band doing a double shift
Daryl Hall has a treasure trove of memorable songs, and we got to sample just a few of them. With a new album out, of course there were going to get a few of them, but they were sprinkled among the hits. We can go for that…
Great band, great sound from the mixing desk crew. Glenn Tillbrook sang and played well, very impressed with his guitar playing. Unfortunately Daryl is struggling with his voice, he's trying to hard to hit notes that are now beyond him. Time for song rearrangements and/or key changes. I've followed him and Oates since the early 70's so it's still good to see him live.
Excellent show from start to finish!! Incredible musicians!! Really great feel good evening!!
My first visit to the Appolo Manchester, a great venue. Glenn Tilbrook was great and a brilliant idea for him to have Daryll Hall's band for his slot. Daryll Hall was great and played a mix of songs old and new. Loved it!
Loved every minute of this concert back in the same venue i first saw Hall and Oates in 1976.The guys in the band were fantastic and Daryl rolled back the years with some old and new favourites plus Glen Tilbrook was also a class act
Fabulous concert. Daryl Hall (legend) and his amazing band along with the brilliant Glenn Tilbrook made it an evening to remember. Thank you for an amazing evening.
