Outdoor gigs in stunning surroundings

While committed to preserving the beauty and heritage of The Trentham Estate, one of the country's top visitors attractions, a brand new addition was added to the live music calendar in 2021: Trentham Live.

Held over a weekend in early September, the inaugural series of concerts saw the outskirts of the estate's gardens play host to some of the biggest names in music – including McFly, The Vamps and Alfie Boe. This gave new audiences a chance to appreciate the spectacular grounds.

On 17 September 2021, organisers announced Trentham Live would return in 2022, with Olly Murs revealed as the first headliner, followed soon after the announcement of Craig David and Steps.

Trentham Live's 2022 headliners

Steps – Best known for floor-filling pop anthems like 'Tragedy' and 'Stomp', Lee, Claire, Lisa, Faye and H will headline Trentham's mainstage on Friday 2nd September. Formed in 1997, Steps now have a massive back catalogue of chart hits to play, including tracks from their recent two part album, What The Future Holds.

Craig David – David was only a teenager when his debut album, Born To Do It, made him into one of UK garage's biggest names. He comes to Trentham off the back of a hugely successful second coming which has included the No.1 album Following My Intuition, collaborations with Bastille and Big Narstie and a 2022 tour marking the 20th anniversary of his debut.

Olly Murs After bursting into the spotlight in 2009 on The X Factor, pop singer-songwriter Olly Murs rocketed to fame. He's released six records – four of them topping the UK albums chart, with the other two reaching the No.2 spot. Famed for his fun and energetic live shows, Murs embarked on his huge All The Hits Tour in summer 2021 that will take him across the UK throughout summer 2022.
