Trentham Live takes place in our dedicated events arena – on the outskirts of the historic gardens. It is surrounded by Trentham Parkland which is robust and can absorb sound. After each concert litter teams clean the site. It takes about 72 hours to de-rig the infrastructure and return the site to its original state.
We are committed to preserving the beauty and heritage of The Trentham Estate and opening the gardens to new visitors. Trentham Live is an essential income generator which allows us to reinvest and develop the Estate for future generations to enjoy. Through Trentham Live we can reach new audiences and give them the opportunity to appreciate The Trentham Estate.
A wonderful outdoor venue and an amazing Gig Experience.
Really spacious venue with great facilities and went 2 of the gigs. Sound was amazing both nights, keep it up acts getting better every year
Great venue, loads of food options & no problems getting drinks. Great setting for a concert
It's such a shame that Trentham don't have more well known bands on. The setting is beautiful. Manic Street Preachers were awesome as usual. The grounds to the venue are magnificent, you can spend a whole day going round the shops and bars first, then as you go into the gardens to walk to the arena you are surrounded by acres of beautiful lakes and landscaped gardens. The drinks are expensive but I understand why. Brilliant.
I've been going to Trentham Live for the last few years, this year I went twice (Manic Street Preachers and Busted on the Saturday and Sunday) and the set up had changed. In previous years the VIP section didn't have their own area in the Golden Circle whereas this year the circle was split in half by a barrier. On Saturday the VIP area of the circle was nearly empty. On the Sunday it did get full but this seemed to be mostly because people had upgraded their tickets on the day. We did take advantage of the fact that we were able to upgrade to get to the front but after already spending £50 odd per ticket I think £83 was a bit expensive just to stand a few feet further forward. By upgrading to VIP on the day you miss out on one of the perks which is a closer car park. Also, there are only 2 food trucks in the VIP area with limited options. I think it would be better to keep VIP as a seated area with seperate bar for those who just want the option to sit and skip long queues, and put the golden circle back to how it was previously just for golden circle ticket holders. That said, we had 2 great nights at Trentham and we will be going back (depending who is playing) but probably won't opt for the VIP upgrade on the day again.
Very well organised, the acts were amazing - the rain did not stop the enjoyment at all. At last a venue that appreciates that queuing for food and drinks is no fun and detracts from the evening - so well staffed it made the evening even more enjoyable. A great venue where everyone gets a good view. Cannot fault the evening at all.
Great summer show, busted were amazing! Would definitely come to trentham live again!
Whilst Busted were good, the venue was poor. Having been to Cannock Chase events we thought it would be similar however was nowhere near as good - no food allowed in (and a very poor choice of food inside unlike Cannock Chase), no chairs allowed meaning standing all the time despite there being enough room for chairs. Far too long between acts with no entertainment in between - would have been better for Busted to come on 30 mins earlier and finish by 10pm. And the car parking system - horrific! Worst experience ever, no staff managing the flow of traffic - took us 90 minutes to exit the car park - one exit which was completely congested. Eventually 6 security staff turned tp to try to manage traffic but they had no idea what they were doing. Please take note of the fantastic Chase events - if you allow picnics, people will enter earlier and still buy food and drinks in the venue (far more choice at Cannock and still queues so lots of sales!),,,I wouldn't return to this venue again honestly.
What a venue! Is all I can say. Beautiful gardens. Lovely shops and restaurants to visit too. Security and staff were brilliant. Everyone so helpful! Felt at ease all night. We had a gorgeous pizza, and some yummy donuts. Fab night had can't wait for another event there! We were VIP and the parking was great, no queues to get out. Well worth upgrading the tickets!
Great venue security very invasive checking sanitary wear which was embarrassing picking them out of bag. Others just let in with limited check. I understand checks needed but this to far
