Rock In Rio: Lisboa Tickets

A huge draw for music lovers of all genres, Rock In Rio is one of the world's biggest entertainment events. Originating in Brazil in 1985 with an audience of 1.5 million people, founder Roberto Medina decided to make it a global event and spread the joy to other locations.

The first Rock In Rio that went overseas took place at Bela Vista Parque in Lisbon, Portugal in 2004. Officially called Rock In Rio Lisboa, it had all the hallmarks of the original festival, including the creation of a massive City Of Rock performance arena with multiple stages, a Rock Street strip containing street performers, shops and bars, and a choreographed fireworks display to wrap up each night.

The inaugural line-up for Rock In Rio Lisboa was topped by Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Britney Spears and Sting. The festival returned to Lisbon seven more times on alternating years between 2006 and 2018 with even more stellar artists.

The 10th edition of the festival will take place on June 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2024.

It's been 20 years since the first edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa. Two decades of stories, memories, great concerts and new entertainment formats. There have been ninw editions, more than 3 million visitors to the City of Rock! In 2024, the festival is back for a special edition, with great new features including a new location in Parque Tejo Lisboa. The new Cidade do Rock will have a new stage, a new Route 85 and a new space that will celebrate 20 years of "For a Better World", as well as the well-known Palco Mundo, Galp Music Valley, Rock Street, Super Bock Digital Stage, Chef's Garden, ESC Online Sports Bar, Pisca Pisca Ferris Wheel, Slide 7Up, Gato Preto VIP Area, among others.
