Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Justin Timberlake first found fame on television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. He has since become one of the world's most successful recording artists, performing as a singer-songwriter, actor and dancer for over two decades.
From 1995 to 2002 he was one of the lead vocalists of boyband *NSYNC – one of the bestselling boybands of all time. In 2002, he released his debut solo album, Justified, which adopted a more mature sound and RnB flavour and brought him huge success with lead singles Cry Me a River and Rock Your Body. The album also earned him his first two Grammy Awards.
Since then, he has released solo albums FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 (2013) and Man of the Woods (2018) and has established himself a solo artist worldwide. Roles in hit films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits and In Time have further bolstered his celebrity – in fact, between 2008 and 2012 he focused solely on his acting, effectively putting his music career on hold.
In 2016, Timberlake voiced the lead character in DreamWorks Animation's Trolls, whose soundtrack includes his fifth Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping single, Can't Stop the Feeling!
His fifth studio album Man of the Woods (2018) became his fourth No.1 album in the US. The album was supported by the two top 10 singles, Filthy and Say Something. Timberlake is about to wrap up The Man of the Woods tour, his sixth concert tour. It began on 13 March 13 2018 and is currently scheduled to end on 13 April 2019 in Indianopolis, Indiana.
Timberlake recently celebrated his 38th birthday. He's married to Jessica Biel and has one son, Silas.
