Biography
American RnB singer-songwriter Alexander O'Neal has had a music and television career spanning more than 30 years.
O'Neal came to promincence in the middle of the 1980s as a solo artist, going on to release 14 singles that enterted the UK top 40 during the '80s and '90s, including If You Were Here Tonight, Fake, Criticize, (What Can I Say) To Make You Love Me and Love Makes No Sense.
In 2006 and 2007 he participated on the reality singing contest show Just the Two of Us, where he was partnered with a non-singing celebrity and tasked with coaching them to perform duets in a weekly competition. He was partnered with BBC newsreader Fiona Bruce and ex-Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis repsectively.
More recently he was seen on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015, although he decided to leave the show on Day 12.
