Directions
From the South via the M1 : Leave the M1 at junction 23A following the signs to East Midland Airport (A453) and tourist signs for Donington.From the North via the M1 : Leave the M1 at junction 24 and then follow signs for the airport and then Donington.
From the South West via the M5 and M40 to the M42 : From the M5 join the M42 at Junction 4A. From the M40 join the M42 northbound at junction 3A. Exit the A42 at junction 14, following the signs for the airport and Donington onto the A453. Clearly signposted from here.
From the North via the M6 : Leave the M6 at junction 15, heading from Stoke-on-Trent and the Uttoxeter (A50 Bypass). Once onto the A50, continue right through following the signs to Uttoxeter/Derby and later picking up the signs for the M1. Leave the A50 at the junction signposted Donington, Long Eaton and Shardlow. Follow exit off the roundabout signposted Castle Donington and Donington Park. Continue through Castle Donington village and it is clearly signposted from there.
Parking
Download Festival:On-site parking is available plus we have disabled customer parking area is located at the front of the West car park and available on a first come first served basis. Parking is free of charge for blue badge holders. Access to the arena from the car park and campsite entrance is via a tarmac road. From the front of the West Car Park it is approximately 0.5 miles to the arena entrance (this does depend on where you park within the car park).
If you are camping in the disabled customer campsite, cars can be parked next to tents if required, though we are unable to offer this to everyone due to restrictions on space. All cars can be parked in the disabled customer car park.
Public Transportation
Nearest rail stations: Long Eaton, Derby or Loughborough.
Bus routes: From Nottingham use the Skylink service to East Midlands Airport from either Loughborough or Derby take buses to either Castle Donington or East Midlands Airport.

Railway Station Shuttle Buses:
Official shuttle buses will operate from Derby and East Midlands Parkway train stations taking you directly to the festival.
Tickets cannot be pre-booked for this service, you can only pay when you get on the bus. Details of costs and times will be published on the official Download website http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk as soon as they are announced

Download 2012All disabled customers are welcome at Download, but as it is a greenfield site there are steep stony hilly sections of the site, meaning that sometimes access across the site is not that easy. Stewards however, will be around to assist.

Children Rules
Download Festival:We do not recommend you bring small children with you to Download (under 5's are not allowed). Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
All children need a valid ticket for entry and camping.
Children under 12 can purchase reduced price tickets on the day of the event from the onsite box office.
Miscellaneous
Standard Camping:Secured area only accessible to camping ticket holders.
Lockers for valuables are available for a small charge.
No vehicle access.
