Somerset House has entrances on the Strand and the Embankment. For events in the Edmond J. Safra Courtyard, please use the Strand entrance.

Box Office Hours

For Summer Series events: The on site box office is open from Saturday 7 July at 6pm.

For Film4 Summer Screen events: The on site box office is open from Thursday 16th August at 6pm.

Types of Payment Accepted

Cash, cheques and all major credit and debit cards accepted. Diners Club and American Express are not accepted.

Box Office Collection Accepted

Tickets can be collected on the day from the pre-paid entry point. Take the credit card used for the booking and Ticketmaster reference number as the card holder may be required to sign for the tickets.

Accessible Seating

The venue is accessible for wheelchairs. There is limited, first-come, first-served access to a raised viewing platform for wheelchairs and ambulant customers. Please contact the Special Access number 0844 847 1655 with any queries.

General Rules

For Summer Series events: Somerset House is an open-air standing venue. The stage area is covered, so gigs continue come rain or shine.

For Film4 Summer Screen events: The screenings are open air. The audience area is not covered. The screening will go ahead whatever the weather – so come prepared!

General venue rules:
No cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices allowed on site.
No readmission.
Body & bag searches may be made at entrance to the venue. Any items which may reasonably be considered not suitable / inappropriate for use at the event will be confiscated.
Patrons are not allowed to bring bottles, cans or alcohol on site. There are licensed cash-only bars on site.

Children Rules

There is no age restriction for the Summer Series. We advise that under 14's are accompanied by an adult.
