Directions:

From the South via the M1 : Leave the M1 at junction 23A following the signs to East Midland Airport (A453) and tourist signs for Donington.

From the North via the M1 : Leave the M1 at junction 24 and then follow signs for the airport and then Donington.

From the South West via the M5 and M40 to the M42 : From the M5 join the M42 at Junction 4A. From the M40 join the M42 northbound at junction 3A. Exit the A42 at junction 14, following the signs for the airport and Donington onto the A453. Clearly signposted from here.

From the North via the M6 : Leave the M6 at junction 15, heading from Stoke-on-Trent and the Uttoxeter (A50 Bypass). Once onto the A50, continue right through following the signs to Uttoxeter/Derby and later picking up the signs for the M1. Leave the A50 at the junction signposted Donington, Long Eaton and Shardlow. Follow exit off the roundabout signposted Castle Donington and Donington Park. Continue through Castle Donington village and it is clearly signposted from there.

Parking:

On-site parking available.

Download Festival:
There will be a disabled parking area located next to the campsite and arena entrance. The disabled car parking is free and cars must display an official disability badge where appropriate. You can also park your car next to your tent should you need to do so.

Public Transportation:

Nearest rail stations: Long Eaton, Derby or Loughborough.

Bus routes: From Nottingham use the Skylink service to East Midlands Airport from either Loughborough or Derby take buses to either Castle Donington or East Midlands Airport.

National Express:
National Express will be running direct services to Download 2007 from all major cities including London, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham & Glasgow as well as many smaller towns including Dudley, Blackpool, Gloucester and Exeter.

Railway Station Shuttle Buses:
Official shuttles from Derby and Loughborough stations to take you direct to the festival
Price: 6.00 return (no increase from 2005).

DERBY STATION

Wed 6 June:
First bus 08:30 and at least every 30 minutes thereafter.
Last bus 21:30.

Thur 7 June:
First bus 08:30 and at least every 30 minutes thereafter.
Last bus at 23:30.

Fri 8 June:
First bus 08:30 and at least every 30 minutes thereafter.
Last bus 30 minutes after last band.

Sat 9 June:
First bus 08:30 and at least every 30 minutes until 15:00.
Returning from Donington 15:30 and every 30 minutes until 23:30.

Sun 10 June:
As Saturday Night service to Derby only - 12:00 Midnight - 05:00.

Mon 11 June:
First Bus from Donnington at 05:00.
Last bus at 13:00.

There will be more buses available after 10:00 - don't rush!

Tickets held for collection can be collected from the
Coppice Tower box office.

Box office will be open from Midday 6 June for collections.

Accessible Seating:

Wheelchair users are welcome, however, as the site is a race track and there are quite steep hilly sections of the site, which may make access difficult. Stewards will be on hand to assist.

If you know that you will need to charge your electric
wheelchair at the festival, please get in touch with Download beforehand to make arrangements.

There is a separate camping area for wheelchair users close to the entrance and there will be a special needs platform near the main stage. Accessible toilets are on-site.

The disabled campsite area will allow Campervans for those customers who do wish to bring them and they will not be charged an additional charge for this. They are allowed up to four people to camp with them, but they will all need a camping ticket for access into this area.

All disabled bookers DO NOT need to purchase an additional car parking pass as this will be provided for all disabled bookers free of charge by the promoter.

EACH WHEELCHAIR USER MUST HAVE AN ESCORT/HELPER.

No alcohol. No animals.
No bottles, glasses or cans allowed in the arena.

Children Rules:

Download Festival:
Children under 16 years should be accompanied by a guardian over 21.
No children under 8 years will be permitted.
All children need a valid ticket for entry and camping.
Children under 12 can purchase half-price tickets on the day of the event from the onsite box office.

Secured area only accessible to camping ticket holders.
Lockers for valuables are available for a small charge.
No vehicle access.
Toilets.
Bars and food stalls selling all manner of fayre.
