Using state-of-the-art effects and iconic memorabilia, we show how rock, pop, dance and other genres were formed and have influenced the last sixty years of British culture. From the classic era defining sounds of the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Dusty Springfield... to stadium-filling giants like The Who and Queen... to the irresistible anarchy of bands like The Specials and Sex Pistols... right up to recent crowd-pleasers such as Spice Girls, Oasis, Coldplay and Artic Monkeys.
The high-end digital interactivity we use throughout the exhibition will enable every visitor to feel part of and inspired by British music. They will get a real understanding of how the industry has influenced key areas of our lives like politics, fashion and art, where the scene is at right now and where it is heading. As such, the exhibition is a fantastic day or night out for a huge variety of visitors; school and college groups, families, music experts , international guests, history enthusiasts and of course... the fans.
