Ian Brown is back with a new UK winter tour 2009, a new album "My Way", and the opportunity to get the first four tracks from it right now!
By downloading the first four tracks from the forthcoming album "My Way" (collectively known as the "Stellify EP") from iTunes, you will receive a unique password to be the first to purchase concert tickets for his forthcoming winter tour 2009 on www.ticketmaster.co.uk before the general public.
Plus, when the full album is released, you can 'Complete My Album' on iTunes by just paying for the additional album tracks.
"My Way" sees Brown moving away from the social commentary of his 2007 album "The World Is Yours", to the personal, drawing deep from his own experiences to create his most intensely emotional record in years. "Stellify" sets the tone, with staccato rhythms colliding with pounding bass and euphoric brass. Another standout track "The Crowning Of The Poor" quickly follows, telling the tale of the "son of a poor boy", of dreams and aspirations, and of where things went right and wrong. Full tracklisting of the EP is "Stellify", "The Crowning Of The Poor", "For The Glory" and "Marathon Man".
The instrumentation is resolutely forward-thinking, led by propulsive synths, hip-hop beats and basslines, and produces an album that is arguably his finest work.
