Ballot Terms & Conditions
In these terms and conditions (except where a different interpretation is necessary in the context) the words and expressions set out below shall have the following meanings:
Event: 'The Libertines' at HMV Forum on 25 August 2010. Strict age restriction for this Event is 14+.
Entry Criteria: The ballot is open for fans only. Strict limit of two tickets per person, per credit/debit card, per billing address applies.
End Date: Friday 13 August 2010, 18:00 hrs
Notification Date: Monday 16 August 2010
Start Date: Tuesday 10 August 2010
Redemption Period: Monday 16 August 2010 - Wednesday 18 August 2010, 10:00 hrs
- Entrants must be 16 and over to register in this ballot (at the time of entry). Employees and contractors (and their respective families) of Ticketmaster (including its group companies) are not eligible to enter.
- By entering into this ticket ballot, you will be added to the Ticketmaster database and be indicating your consent to Ticketmaster sharing your contact information with The Libertines and the band as individuals, management & Festival Republic and to receiving general communications in accordance with Ticketmaster's privacy policy from time to time, which is available at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/legal/privacy.
- No responsibility is accepted for entries which are lost, corrupted, incomplete or for any failure to capture entry information.
- Entry is valid for Event only and does not guarantee tickets. There is a strict limit of two (2) tickets per person, per credit/debit card, per billing address.
- Entrants are required to meet the Entry Criteria. Entries to the ballot will only be accepted from the Start Date to the End Date inclusive. The winner(s) of the ballot will be selected at random on the Notification Date and will be sent an email notification with unique presale passcode to purchase tickets. Unsuccessful applicants will also receive notification. All notification emails will be sent on Notification Date. It is a responsibility of the entrants to check their emails on Notification Date and to notify the promoter of any change of contact details. Proof of identity may be required. The winner(s) of the ballot will be selected at random by independent judges. The judges' decision is final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
- Successful applicants will have to redeem codes and purchase tickets during the Redemption Period. If the winners do not redeem code and purchase ticket by the end of the Redemption Period, such winners forfeit all rights to purchase of tickets.
- All tickets and passcodes are non- transferable. Only the named winner, to whom the passcode has been issued is eligible to purchase tickets using the passcode and a credit/debit card in their name. The passcode is only valid for one purchase.
- Winners MUST bring the same credit/debit card used for purchase of tickets and a photo ID (such as driving licence or passport), in order to verify thy purchase and gain entry to the event. The name on the photo ID must match the name against which your passcode is registered AND the name on the credit/debit card used for ticket purchase, otherwise entry to the Event will be refused. The cardholder must be present at the time of entry into the Event and must be attending the Event. No tickets will be posted out.
- The ticket purchaser must be attending the Event with his/her guest. Once entered into the Event, there will be no readmission.
- Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions as final and binding. Entries which are not in accordance with the terms and conditions will be disqualified.
- All ticket purchases are subject to the standard terms and conditions and Purchase Policy of Ticketmaster UK Limited, accessible at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/legal/purchase.htms as well as these terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, these terms and conditions will prevail.
- Any omission to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right or remedy under these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver by the promoter of that, or any other, right or remedy.
- The promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the ballot at any time (and for any reason) without notice.
- The promoter shall not be responsible for damages, losses or liabilities of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in relation to the ballot. The liability of the promoter shall be limited to £50. Nothing in this clause shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of the promoter's negligence.
- The ballot will be governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
