The exhibition will enable visitors to trace musical trends through the decades, learn about music's influence on art, fashion and politics, learn to play instruments, and record their own songs.
British Music Experience
The British Music Experience is Britain's new interactive museum of popular music.
Using state-of-the-art effects and iconic memorabilia from over 100 British artists, the exhibition show how rock, pop, dance and other genres have influenced British history and modern culture over the last 60 years.

- David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust outfit
- Noel Gallagher's Union Jack guitar
- Chris Martin's original lyrics to "Yellow"

After your visit, you can log into your personal MyBME account and access all of your selected content and recordings from the exhibition with your Smarticket.
Current Exhibition
The British Music Experience is showcasing 'Gibson Through The Lens', a unique photographic exhibition of the world's most iconic musicians with their Gibson Guitars. It is a free exhibition and is running until the end of February 2012.
