In the breathtaking setting of Figure Court at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the home of the Chelsea Pensioners, The Chelsea Pageant will be a celebration of the early history of the Chelsea Pensioners in words, pictures, music and re-enactments with a commentary by Michael Portillo and the voices of Dame Judi Dench, Joanna Lumley, Rory Bremner and Timothy Spall and featuring the Band, Drum Horse, State Trumpeters and the Mounted Squadron of The Life Guards, The Choir of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, The Company of Pikemen & Musketeers of the Honourable Artillery Company, King Charles II, Nell Gwyn, Sir Christopher Wren, horses, carriages, and fireworks.
