The indoor season will kick off with the British Athletics Indoor Championships, as the best of Britain will gather in Birmingham on the weekend of 17-18 February. They compete for the prestigious honour of being crowned British champion and battle for a place on the British Athletics team ahead of March's IAAF World Indoor Championships, due to be held in the very same arena from 1-4 March. Moving home for 2018, Birmingham's national indoor championships will give the athletes an opportunity to familiarise themselves with Arena Birmingham as they vie to earn a British vest for March's global indoor championships, the second world athletics championships to be held in the UK in the space of seven months.

Heading north on Sunday 25 February, ranked the best indoor athletics meeting in the world, the Müller Indoor Grand Prix Glasgow returns to Scotland. Some of the best athletes in the world, including a host of stars from the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London, will compete at the glittering Emirates Arena, offering the British public the opportunity to see the world's best track and field athletes on show in an intimate indoor setting.
