The Seve Trophy is a biennial team golf competition disputed by the teams of Great Britain and Ireland and Continental Europe with more than 2,000,000 Euros in prize money distributed amongst the twenty participating players.

The tournament consists of a four-day event where the best professional golfers of Continental Europe and Great Britain and Ireland go head to head in matchplay format.

Teams will comprise the leading four players from the Official World Golf Ranking plus the leading four players from the Volvo Order of Merit.
