 •    La Cage aux Folles will officially close on 2 January 2010 after a multi-award winning run at the Playhouse Theatre.

The West End's most glamorous musical, La Cage aux Folles, will officially close on 2 January 2010 after more than a year in the West End.  The show's original Albin, Douglas Hodge, will bring the show to a close prior to a planned Broadway transfer next year.  He will reprise his Olivier Award winning role from 30 November and will be joined by Denis Lawson as Georges, who played alongside him when the production first opened at the Playhouse Theatre in October 2008.  Current stars John Barrowman and Simon Burke will finish on 28 November.
