Biography
Hailing from Devon, pop star Joss Stone was just 16 when her career took off. Initially she was a back-up singer for Britney Spears but a chance audition in New York City landed her her first solo record deal. Joss got her first hit single in early 2004, with the funky Fell in Love with a Boy, which was a rework of the White Stripes hit Fell in Love with a Girl.
Joss is considered a true talent amongst a sea of over-hyped and saccharine teen popstars, and is sure to be around for a while.
