Frequently Asked Questions - Affiliate Programme

Why should I become a Ticketmaster Affiliate?
You will tap into a wide range of events to promote on your site, in order to increase traffic and generate additional revenue, and the Ticketmaster brand assures visitors they will get 100% authentic tickets. You will also have access to easy-to-use online tools via the Ticketmaster Affiliate Centre, to create customised links and content, and detailed reports to help you understand visitors' preferences and link performance.
How do I get started?
All you need to do is read and accept the Terms and Conditions, before filling out a brief online application. Once you have been reviewed and accepted onto the network, Buy.at will send you login and password details for the Ticketmaster Affiliate Centre right away! Your application will be verified within three business days.
If I join the Ticketmaster programme, can I link to tickets from all your sites?
If you sign up to the Ticketmaster programme on Buy.at, you will be able to link straight away to all events on Ticketmaster.co.uk and Ticketweb.co.uk. To be able to link to GET ME IN! events, you will need to also join their programme through the Buy.at interface. This can be done very quickly, because Buy.at already have all your details. We would recommend applying for both programmes to give you access to the largest amount of tickets.
Who is buy.at?
Buy.at is the trusted third-party affiliate management company and network that Ticketmaster has partnered with to provide reporting and tracking solutions for the affiliate programme.
Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?
No, there is no application fee and there are no minimums.
Who sends my referral fees (Commission) and when?
Within 60 days from the end of each month, your account will be credited with your referral fees for monthly sales minus any cancelled sales, returns, or refunds. For example, commissions earned during May are paid at the end of July. Your account will only be credited once you have accumulated £20 in referral fees - this fee is an aggregated amount earned across the Buy.at network for any given monthly basis. Also, fees are accumulative and rolled over into the following month if the threshold is missed. The fees will be sent from Buy.at and appear as Perfiliate Technologies on your statement.
How much will I earn?
We offer a tiered commission rate, which means the higher the value of the ticket, the greater your commission. More about our commission structures.
How do you track orders from different affiliates?
Once we approve your application, Buy.at will assign you a unique tracking ID. All affiliate links to Ticketmaster sites use a unique tracking ID. Every time a consumer clicks one of those links, the unique URL tells us which page to display, as well as which affiliate sent the consumer to us. We keep track of the affiliate's ID, as the consumer browses our site.
How do I create Ticketmaster links?
Login through Buy.at to the Ticketmaster Affiliate Centre with your username and password. Click on the Make Links tab, where you will find graphic links, buttons, and text links. You will also have access to the LinkEngine and Ticketmaster EventEngine, which enable you to create direct links to any of the Ticketmaster page or widgets for individual artists and/or venues, so you can devise your own merchandising techniques.
How do I link to my favourite artist or club on Ticketmaster sites?
Click on the LinkEngine sub-tab under the Make Links tab in the Ticketmaster Affiliate Centre. Then copy the Ticketmaster or TicketWeb site URL, where you want to link to, into the "Enter URLs here" box and you will receive a deep-linked URL. You can also publish your own event widgets to your Flash-enabled site, blog, or social networking profile using the EventEngine feature.
Can I sell Ticketmaster tickets on my site?
No, you are only allowed to link consumers to Ticketmaster.co.uk to make their purchases. Transactions to purchase Ticketmaster tickets may not take place on your site.
I have more than one website, can I link to Ticketmaster sites from each of them?
Yes, however, if you want to track performance from each site separately, you will have to set up separate accounts or use the LID (Link ID) functionality. Also, you will need to let us know the website URL, so we can check the site content is suitable and adheres to our content policy.
Can I participate if I live outside the UK?
Yes, however, at this time only events displaying on Ticketmaster.co.uk are available to earn a commission through the Ticketmaster UK Affiliate Program. However, please note that Euro sales are non commissionable on the Ticketmaster UK programme.
Can I participate if I'm a venue, promoter, label or artist?
Yes, you may join the Ticketmaster Affiliate Program to enjoy unlimited access to the valuable tools provided to promote your ticket sales. However, you will not be eligible to receive commission from Ticketmaster.
