The best mountain bikers in the world will return to Dalby Forest this May for the 2011 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. The UCI has recently named the Yorkshire event as the best World Cup round of the 2010 cross country season and thousands of spectators are expected to return to the scene of one of the most exciting races of the year.

The inaugural event saw the men's elite race conclude with the closest finish in world cup history as Nino Schurter defeated Julien Absalon by a matter of inches in a sprint to the line. The weekend will also sees world cup level women's elite, Under 23 and junior races along with the opportunity to ride the course under world cup conditions yourself in the Dalby Dare.
