For Flickerama in August 2015 the there will be signposts in the local area.

‏From Oxford, follow the A44 through Woodstock, and after a few miles turn right onto the B4022 at Enstone.

‏From Banbury and the North:
Take the A361 south from Banbury towards Chipping Norton, turning left onto the B4022 towards Enstone and The Tews.

‏From the south-west:
Get to Burford using the A40 or A361, then follow the A361 north through Chipping Norton towards Banbury, and turn right onto the B4022 towards Enstone and The Tews.

‏From the west:
Get to Chipping Norton on the A44 or A361, then follow the A44 towards Oxford and turn left onto the B4022 at Enstone.

Trains:
Great Tew is 12 minutes from Charlbury Station which is on the London Paddington to Hereford line, which runs through Oxford and Worcester.

There are DIRECT TRAINS from London Paddington to Charlbury Station.

Great Tew Park is also 30 minutes drive from Banbury Station

The Disabled Access Platform will accommodate up to 20 users at a time and will be nest to the sound tower in front of the main stage

General Rules

Information for Flickerama in August 2015:
There are toilets and showers provided in all the campsite areas and also disposal facilities for elsen tanks on the van camping site.

Camping Rules:
‏Strictly no open fires, disposable BBQs, chinese candles, fireworks, generators or candles anywhere in Flickerama under any circumstances
‏Please think about others when pitching your tent. We are not specifying pitch sizes in the camping areas but if you take up more than a reasonable amount of space for the size of your group you may be asked to rearrange or take some tents down.
‏You can bring your gas or charcoal BBQs on to the campsite but please exercise caution
‏Leave your sound systems at home there is plenty of entertainment available on site
‏Pitches will be allocated on a first come first served basis – the earlier you arrive at Flickerama the more choice you will have

Tips for a great weekend:
Bring spare loo roll and a good torch with spare batteries just in case.
Be considerate to your neighbouring campers and keep noise down after midnight

Children Rules

Information for Flickerama in August 2015:
Flickerama is designed to be family friendly, accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
‏The festival site is compact and easy to get around. There a first aid stations and information points where you can ask for help or support. Our Stewards and security staff will also be happy to help you have a great weekend.
‏If you have children under the age of 12 we will give you special wristband when you arrive to write your mobile number on so if we find your child on their own we will be able to contact you and reunite you.
‏As well as lots of family friendly films on the main screen there is a dedicated The Little Film Club that will offer family films and fun activities throughout each day of the festival.
‏We will also be offering a number of free workshops aimed at children and families during the weekend.

Information for Flickerama (Takes place August 2015)

When does the site open and close?
‏The campsite will open at 10am on Friday 14th of August & will close at midday on Monday 17th of August. Please note you are only able to enter the site during gate opening times.

‏What happens if it rains?
There is huge indoor capacity in our 5 marquee tents, so if there are periods of bad weather over the weekend there will be a huge selection of films and events indoors.

How can I see the screens if they are outdoors?
The Main Screen has been specially designed to be suitable for outdoor viewing.

‏Will I have somewhere to sit to watch the film?
‏Yes. All of the indoor screens will have seating facilities – for example, comfy sofas in the Boutique Screen, bean bags in The Little Film Club or regular raked seating. The Main Screen will have the option of seating or standing during the events and live music.

‏What sort of sanitary facilities will there be?
‏We will make sure there are enough toilets and plenty of accessible toilets as well. There will also be decent hand washing facilities. There will also be hot showers on the campsites. If you want a more upmarket toilet experience we are also working with Poshloos to provide these.

‏Will there be drinking water available on site?
‏Yes .

Programmes will be available to purchase onsite at the gates and on the merchandise stand

Can I bring pets?
‏No, please leave all kinds of pets at home. We do however welcome registered guide dogs.

‏Are there additional costs for the workshops?
‏Our workshops and talks on the main festival site are all included in the ticket price. If you want to attend the talks and workshops in the Industry Pavilion you will need to apply for an industry pass.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
‏No, you can’t bring your own food and alcohol into the festival arena but you can bring your own on to the festival campsite. Please do not bring any glass onsite.
