Directions
Take the A23 into Brighton, which becomes Grand Parade as you approach the City Centre. You will pass Victoria Gardens (large fountain) on your right. Turn right at the traffic lights immediately before the Royal Pavilion, taking you around the southern end of Victoria Gardens, and then immediately left into Church Street past the Royal Pavilion on your left. You will pass New Road on your left and the nearest NCP is at the top of Church Street on your right.Parking

Tickets may be collected on the day from the pre-paid window at the ticket office. Visitors should bring the card they used to make the booking, as the card-holder may be required to sign for tickets and the Ticketmaster reference number.Accessible Seating
The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is accessible to wheelchair users. All exits and entrances are ramped, viewing areas and cafe are accessible and a disabled toilet is available. Wheelchair users wishing to skate are asked to book in advance and are encouraged to book off-peak sessions when the rink is quieter. Groups of 5 wheelchair users or more are asked to book their sessions off-peak only, and should contact the rink direct. Please note that wheelchair users must be accompanied on the ice by a competent skater who may skate for free. Marshals will be on-hand if necessary. Electric wheelchairs are permitted but should be switched to manual setting whilst on the ice.General Rules
Visitors over 18 may purchase alcohol at the bar but may not bring their own alcohol onto the premises. Alcohol may only be drunk in the restaurant area, once visitors’ skates have been removed. The management reserves the right to refuse visitors entry. No bags will be allowed on the ice. The ice rink cloakroom charges £1 for up to 2 items.Children Rules
Parents must judge whether their children can skate safely.The smallest skate size available for children is 25 (age approx 3-4 years old).
A child must be 12 yrs or under to qualify for the child ticket price.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over) to the venue
Children under 8 must have an adult (aged 18 or over) with them on the ice
A limited number of double runner ice skates (‘bob skates’) and ‘penguin’ skate aids (restricted to children under 8) are available, on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Miscellaneous
The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is outdoor, and skating continues whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately. Long coats, skirts and scarves should not be worn for visitors’ own safety. Skaters should aim to arrive 20 minutes before their chosen session. If you arrive late you will be allowed on the ice but you may not have your full hour of skating. Tickets are only valid for the date and session time booked, and are non transferable or refundable.Cafe
There is a fully licensed restaurant/bar serving delicious food and drink including children’s menus, open from 9am until 1am. It is free to spectate.
Toilets
The ice rink has its own toilets – including a disabled toilet and baby change facilities.
Bicycle parking
The ice rink has its own bicycle parking.
Cloakroom
The ice rink has its own cloakroom facility which charges £1 for up to 2 items.
Skate Boot sizes
The smallest skate boot is shoe size European 25 (age approx 3 to 4 years old).
