In-depth Biography
A Bristol, England born comedian, Mark Watson got his start while at university, as part of the long running and respected Cambridge Footlights theater group. Watson appeared at a number of comedy festivals over the years, including some award winning appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. His well-received appearances on television and radio -- BBC2's Mock the Week and BBC Radio Five Live sports talk show Fighting Talk among many others -- led to his own program, the Radio 4 series, Mark Watson Makes the World Substantially Better in 2007. In addition to his work on telly and radio, Mark Watson also started a program to promote amateur environmentalism, called Mark Watson Is Crap At the Environment. Mark was also an author, writing and publishing two novels, Bullet Points in 2004, and A Light Hearted Look At Murder in 2007. ~ Chris True, Rovi
