Directions

By rail
From Waltham Cross train station:
It's a 25 minute train journey on the East Anglia Line from London Liverpool Street and a 10 minute walk to the Centre. Leave Waltham Cross station and follow the pathway to the main road. Turn right along Highbridge Street (away from the roundabout). Proceed down Station Road for approximately half a mile, the centre is on the left hand side. There will be no spectator access via the main gate. Entry by Foot will be via the North Enterance, located close to the venue building, accessible via the tow path beside the venue

By bus
The 211, 212, 213, 240, 250, 251 buses all stop on Station Road.

By road
Lee Valley White Water Centre is 10 minutes from the M25 London orbital motorway (either junction 25 or junction 26) and easily accessible from central London on the A10.
From junction 26 of the M25: Follow the A121 towards Waltham Abbey, continue forward over each roundabout. At T-junction (McDonalds on left) turn left towards Waltham Cross along Highbridge Street. The entrance to the car park is after approximately 50m on the right, on the bridge between the two waterways.
From junction 25 of the M25: Join the A10 towards Hertford At the first roundabout turn right onto the B198 for Waltham Cross Turn right at the next roundabout and left at a further roundabout to join Eleanor Cross Road / Station Road for one mile. Pass the main entrance to the centre on the left and turn left after approx 50m on the left between the two waterways on the bridge.



Parking

Car parking is available adjacent to Lee Valley White Water Centre on the Showground field (Day: £3; Weekend: £5; Competition: £10 if booked in advance).
Blue Badge parking is available in the venue car park and can be accessed via the main centre gates off Station Road
The Showground car park will locked 30 minutes after the competition has finished each day

General Rules

- Visitors are not permitted to cross the safety chain between the pathway and the course for safety reasons
- Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a lead
- Smoking is not permitted in the building or on the open deck terrace
- Hot and cold refreshments will be available to purchase at two locations on site


Miscellaneous

Lee Valley White Water Centre is owned and managed by Lee Valley Regional Park. The venue for the 2012 Olympic canoe slalom competition, the centre is now open to the public for white water rafting and kayaking.
