Biography
Given the name The Genius because of his insightful, thought-provoking rhymes, the Gza has been involved in hip hop for the past two decades.
His debut album, Words From the Genius was released in 1991, but it was following the release of Wu Tang's debut Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers) that his lyrical skill received the attention it deserved.
Gza's debut solo album Liquid Swords dropped in 1995, containing hits such as Shadowboxin' and Cold World.
Follow up Beneath the Surface was released in 1999, while most recent album Legend of the Liquid Sword was released at the end of 2002.
