The Crusaders, Christchurch's Super Rugby side, will take on The Sharks of Natal at Twickenham on 27 March, KO 16:00, in the first ever Super Rugby match to be played outside Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
Investec Super Rugby is the Southern Hemisphere's premier club competition and features the five top teams from each of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The Sharks currently top the table with the likes of Jannie du Plessis, Willem Alberts and Bismark du Plessis; while the Crusaders will be bringing a squad full of All Black talent including Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Sonny Bill Williams.
The match will be the centre piece of a major weekend of fundraising by the Red Cross Earthquake appeal, with five pounds from every ticket sold going to the charity.
