For one incredible night we're taking over the Golden Sands of Sandbanks to bring you no less than six of the UK's finest DJs as we deliver Cocoloco on the Beach at The Asahi British Beach Polo Championships on 12 July 2013.

After six years of partying across the south coast we're finally getting our chance to host a party worthy of Bournemouth's beaches. As the sun goes down we'll be sparing no expense, bringing together the biggest DJ line-up Bournemouth has ever seen. Fresh from tearing up stages in Ibiza, hosting Radio 1 and breaking the charts we give you:

All packed in to one unforgettable Friday night spent in the Asahi Beach Polo Marquees, prepare to see Sandbanks party Cocoloco style as we break out our Funktion-One Sound System and a one-off VJ that will illuminate Sandbanks as the sun goes down.

With a truly international standard line-up we're expecting the VIP to be packed with some suitably famous faces, and who better to host it than Made in Chelsea's Ollie Proudlock?

Britain’s premier beach location plays host to polo’s finest in a festival of sport and music. The beach polo at Sandbanks provides a unique opportunity for businesses to improve their brand awareness, sell and promote their product or services and entertain clients and staff. The high profile sport of polo played on the most famous public beach has proved to be a powerful and intriguing formula.

The event
Building on the success of the last five years the British Beach Polo Championships 2013 promises to be another phenomenal event bringing with it widespread sporting, business and social acclaim.

•    Teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will compete for the Championship title.
•    Floodlit beach polo on the Friday night of the event.
•    The Oakley Professional Beach Volleyball provides a good sporting balance to the polo.
•    The 4x4 Polo Pony Charity Race is a popular feature and raises money and awareness for a national and local Charity.
•    Other sporting and social activities are to be enjoyed with refreshments throughout the day, whilst guests take in this exciting and glamorous spectacle, both on and off the pitch.
•    Exquisite hospitality.
•    Broad range of tickets from general admission to VIP.
•    The renowned Sandpolo Beach Parties allow players, celebrities and supporters to dance, relax and socialise until the small hours of the morning. There will be live music on Friday night and an electric club night on Saturday.

The polo
‘The matches are fast and furious and the extra-large orange ball, designed not to get lost in the sand, flies around at speeds of up to 100mph.’ The Guardian

Polo played in an enclosed arena has been referred to as ‘ice hockey on horse back’. Spectators are close to the action and can fully appreciate the horsemanship, speed and gladiatorial nature of polo. The polo ponies love the sand, they can accelerate and stop fast and can turn extremely sharply. The thrill and excitement of horses galloping on the sand with the English Channel as a backdrop, whilst sipping champagne amongst glamorous company, is a vision to remember and an intoxicating mix. Polo players engage with the sponsors and spectators both on and off the pitch.

Sandbanks is probably the most exclusive beach community in the UK. The infamous Peninsular extends out across Poole Harbour on the scenic Dorset coast. It boasts upmarket luxurious homes and pristine ‘blue flag’ beaches. Poole is easily accessible with a fast rail connection (100 minutes direct from London Waterloo), good road access (30 minutes from  Southampton) and two International airports within 45 minutes.
